Bromelain is exclusively derived from pineapple and stands out for its natural anti-inflammatory properties. Unlike animal enzymes such as pancreatin, it is plant-based and vegan.
Generally, 1-2 teaspoons are recommended once or twice a day after meals. Taking it on an empty stomach is more effective for digestion and fluid retention.
It may be suitable for children aged 3 and above, but the dosage must be determined by a doctor's advice.
